GP 2014 F6: Great performance by Russia for first F6 win

Russian girls are back! After a loss in the first round of FIVB World Grand Prix, Russia answered quickly and beat Belgium in straight sets 3-0 (25-23, 25-16, 25-19).

Marichev’s team managed to decrease a total number of errors if we compare stats with the last game – 12. Belgium made 21 errors.

Natalia Malykh was the best scorer of the game with 18 points while Belgium’s Lisa Van Hecke with 15 points.

It was the first meeting of these two teams in World Grand Prix because Belgium is making debut in the competition. Last time they met each other in 2009 at the European Championship. Russia was the winner in five sets.
