David Lee was a huge boost for Lokomotiv this summer and a big storyline as well. Still, coach Voronkov decided to leave him out of the lineup in their Superliga opening.
“David still has to adjust to some things in our system and also there is an issue with conditioning. He was back home from the World Championship earlier than us, then after he come to Russia he needed to recover a little bit it was a super long flight and all other stuff that go along with it. He will soon be ready to step up and make a huge impact, I’m sure.”
