Secretary-general of the Russian Volleyball Federation Alexander Yaremenko confirmed that they will not appeal on FIVB decision to suspend Alexey Spiridonov for two matches due to behavior during the World Championship in Poland.

“It makes no sense to appeal as Disciplinary Commission did a serious job. They could suspend him for 10 matches or up to six months with some money fine… But, this is a minimum fine. So, Spiridonov will miss two matches next year” said Yaremenko for R-Sport.
