The deadline for sending an application is January 16, and Zenit hopes that Russian Volleyball Federation could help in talks with CEV.
“We have already informed the Russian Volleyball Federation about our wish to organize the Final Four. Its support would mean a lot to us in this race, as there are two serious competitors – Berlin and Treia” said Oleg Bryzgalov, Director of Zenit for the club’s official website.
Russian powerhouse has already secured place in the Playoff round of the CEV Champions League. But, if Kazan receives an organization of the final tournament, then Zenit will automatically go to the Final Four.
