Alekno is the head coach of Spiridonov in Zenit Kazan, and he stated that he is well satisfied with the player’s achievement in the last season.

“Alexey Spiridonov met all expectations in his first season. He was the soul of Zenit. Maybe he should be quieter in some moments, even when he is right… But, he is a good person, a good guy” said Alekno for Soviet Sport.
