WC M: Alekno – “My players were nervous”

This was the first official match of the Russian coach Vladimir Alekno after his break from the National team:

“I don’t have much to say but we won, so I’m happy. The first set wasn’t so good. Maybe the players were a little nervous as it was the first set of the first match of the World Cup; that’s understandable. But we got over the problems of the first set and it was OK.”
