“We are all delighted with their gesture!” said Alexey Verbov. “It showed the real strength of France. We were joking with them because they always dance, both off and on the court. It’s their style. Eventually, instead of being sad and angry because of the defeat, they came at the dinner and performed that dance. It was very nice indeed”, concluded Verbov.
Recall that Russian head coach Vladimir Alekno also congratulated the French team on their tremendous sportsmenship.
