Newcomers in Serie A1 this season, Südtirol Neruda Bolzano, made their first movement in the transfer market window in 2016, but it was not hiring.

Bolzano and Croatian receiver/outside hitter Matea Ikić made consensus to end collaboration. In the first part of the season Ikić has scored 95 points with 15 aces and 24% of attacking efficiency.
Bolzano will try to hire another foreign player to replace Croatian.
