“I was very close to sign a contract with Polish Zaksa, but deal fell through at the last moment. I didn’t hide my physical shape – I needed time to get into shape after recovering from injury. The board of the team was frightened but head coach wanted me in his team. However, I chose Latina! I had more offers from Turkey, Russia and Italy. In 2014 I signed a contract with Gubernya and I didn’t want to change a team because of my family. I thought that everything will be alright but afterwards, the board of the team informed us that club has financial problems and we had to leave the team” says Pavlov.
