Neftyanik
After beating Belogorie Belgorod at home court in Round 12, Neftyanik defeated second-placed Dinamo Moscow in Round 13, also as hosts 3-2 (16-25, 25-23, 20-25, 25-20, 15-10).
The game was very intense with Dinamo coming out ahead in sets, but the house owners each time managed to level the score.
In the midst of these game dynamics, the clash went in the tie-break, which forced the guests to lay down their weapon leaving a hard-fought victory to Neftyanik.
With this defeat, Dinamo fell six points behind leaders Zenit Kazan while Neftyanik increased their chances for playoffs.
