CEV Cup title holders, Russian Krasnodar, will have the chance to crown turbulent season (got banned to do international transfers due to debts to almost entire roster) with another trophy after winning national Cup. Krasnodar achieved another win in straight sets over Azerbaijani Azeryol Baku 3-0 (25-17, 27-25, 25-17).

Just like in the first leg, Krasnodar played without main star Tatyana Kosheleva and once again, Nataliya Malykh was the best scorer. She had 21 points while Katerina Zhidkova scored 17 in Azeryol. Thus, Krasnodar will play their fourth European finals (gold medal in CEV Challenge Cup 2013 and CEV Cup 2015, silver in CEV Cup 2011).

Schweriner SC did their best to confront Galatasaray in a right way after suffering straight-set defeat at home, but Turkish giants were determine not to waste huge chance to qualify to their second European finals ever 3-0 (30-28, 25-20, 25-23).

Italian Nadia Centoni stood out in ’Galata’ with 22 points taking her team into second CEV Cup finals in its history (silver medal in 2012). The Brazilian Lousiane Souza Ziegler scored 14 points for the German representatives.
