That means, volleyball men’s and women’s national team won’t compete in Rio! But, this information has not been confirmed by the IOC.
Recall that track and field athletes were already banned a few days ago. According to some well-placed sources, officials of the IOC are considering an option to ban Russia also for the Winter Olympics in South Korea.
Also recall that CEV supports Russia as well as the FIVB (recall the statement of its President Dr. Ary Graça).
We are waiting for the official decision of IOC, that will be made probably today…
