We are in a very good mood. Everything’s great, let’s go fight. I think we are very good prepared, the physical form is good so we will not fail. After Grand Prix we had a time to rest, to recover and now we have enough power for the Games. We expect and want only gold. Of course, we are able to fight and win. If we play with our full staff, then we are capable of everything.” said Nataliya Goncharovafor R-Sport.

‘ I would expect little modest and more realistic approach. Probably they have forgotten what happened with their coach after OG 2012, when there was also a big goal… Perhaps this declaration is tactics before competiotion, but OG are not only about gold… There are also 3-4 teams on similar or better level. It is useless stress and pressure on any team to focus only on gold…’

For Russia, it will take fresh tactics such as using their middles in crucial moments; these are things they need to work on thus giving the scoring machines(gancharova and kosheleva) a break. However they will be key players when playing top teams. Yana scherban will have to play with everything she’s got in terms of serves, defense , and attacks. She will have to play strong. Then, will they have a chance for thinking of gold

Yea…. I’m sure Thaisa and the rest of Brazil are waiting for team Goncharova. Oops I mean team Russia.

Regardless, I can’t wait.
