Legendary Russian player Ekaterina Gamova has spoken about her worst nightmare throughout her rich career. It’s definitely the final game of the Olympic Games in Athens (2004).

My career could have been much better. Everyone is talking about the Olympic gold. I had two chances: First time in Sydney, but I was not on the court and second time in Athens, where I was on court. We gave everything we had in that moment. How much time it took to move on, to get over it? Entire life. I was not able to move on,” says Gamova.

Recall that Gamova retired from professional volleyball.
