RUS M: Name of Alekno’s successor revealed?

According to Gian Luca Pasini, Sergey Shlapnikov is going to be new head coach of Russian men’s volleyball team.

He is already a member of Russian volleyball Federation and he may take over the team very soon. That means that Russia won’t consider an option of hiring foreign head coach.

Recall that previous coach was Vladimir Alekno, who left the team after the Olympic Games in Rio.

i think it better if tetyukin will be the coach of russia he knows the players and his experience will be a big help
