However, Maxim Mikhailov has a different opinion.
“I do not consider myself to be either volleyball Messi or someone close to him. Leo is a superstar from another sport. I don’t want to be compared with him. The whole team played well at the European Championship. I only singled out Dima Volkov, but only because he could potentially be a big star. All elements worked perfectly. I believe that in collective sports individual achievement is conditioned by some other things. In very rare cases, one player can win the match. This happens in one match per million and such player are born every 50-100 years. You can win a few points alone but not a game. The win is a product of the team,” says Mikhailov.

Maxim Mikhaylov is a world class volleyball player I strongly admire. Not only is he an excellent volleyball player, but his demeanour is very professional and humble. He is a good ambassador for aspiring athletes in any given sport. I look forward to seeing him play in many more matches to come.
HIS USE OF WORDS IS SO WISE. SO HUMBLE MY KING. LONG LIVE THE KING OF OPPOSITES.
