“Much has been said about the result at the European Championship. Any of my words or explanations will sound like an excuse and therefore I don’t want to explain anything it will look like I want to make some excuses. I was the head coach for only ten days, so there’s really nothing to say,” says Ushakov.
Ushakov has taken the team two days before the start of the championship, replacing Vladimir Kuzyutkin.
