The Russian Women’s volleyball Superliga defending champions Dinamo Moscow made a perfect start of the 2017/18 season.

Led by the European champion, the Serbian coach Zoran Terzić, renovated Dinamo Moscow outclassed Dinamo-Metar Chelyabinsk at home by a 3-0 (25-15, 25-12, 25-22). Terzić gave the chance to play to nearly all players but the key ones like Nataliya Goncharova, Ekaterina Lyubushkina, Irina Fetisova and Darya Stolyareva remained on the floor for the most for the time.

Dinamo Kazan, probably the only candidate to dethrone namesakes from the Russian capital this season, also made a sweep. They defeated Leningradka Sankt Peterburg, partially 25-15, 25-15, 25-16. The Azerbaijani Nataliya Mammadova topped Dinamo Kazan with 20 points (5 aces). Ekaterina Petrova scored 13 for Leningradka.
