The third-seed Dinamo Moscow prevailed against No.6 Lokomotiv Novosibirsk on the road in Game 2 in four sets, partially 25-17, 25-22, 24-26, 25-13, to win the 2017/18 Superliga playoff quarterfinal series by a 2-0.
Dinamo had as much as five double-digit players of which the Dutchman Dick Kooy scored the highest number of points, 20, including 5 aces. Aleksey Ostapenko served 5 aces as well for the winning side. Sergey Savin scored 14 points for Lokomotiv.
Dinamo will face No.5 Zenit Sankt-Peterburg in the best-of-three semifinals. As for Lokomotiv, they can now fully focus on the 2018 CEV Champions League – Playoffs 12 rematch against Noliko Maaseik (0-3 in the 1st leg) on March 21.
