Fakel Novy Urengoy and famous Italian coach Camillo Placì reached an agreement on continuing the collaboration for one more season. „I feel great in Fakel, it will be my third season here. I sign only one-year contracts because if everything suits me, I’ll stay, and if I’m not satisfied with it, I can make another choice,“ a 61-year-old expert said for the club website. The 2018/19 roster of Fakel is strengthened with a 22-year-old Denis Shenkel. Thus, the outside hitter has returned to the club with whom he won the Russian Youth League after four seasons. Shenkel spent these four seasons competing in Division 2 of which the last three with Akademiya-Kazan (Zenit Kazan „B“ team).

Last season, Belogortsev was the fourth best scorer in Yugra-Samotlor Nizhnevartovsk with 177 points.

The middle blocker Mikhail Morov will continue his career in Nova Novokuybyishevsk. Last season, a 22-year-old player averaged 32% reception while wearing the jersey of Yaroslavich Yaroslavl whose member he was in the season when the club earned promotion to Superliga – the 2016/17.

The Superliga newcomers Lokomotiv-Izumrud Ekaterinburg tied setter Evgeniy Rukavishnikov. This is a comeback of a 27-year-old player to the club in which he started his professional career (2010-2014). Rukavishnikov defended the colors of Yaroslavich Yaroslavl in the last season.
