SRB W: Challenges ahead of Molnar

Upon signing with Poland’s national champions Atom Trefl SOPOT, Brizitka Molnar is expected to highlight this year’s ORLEN national league and also to carry the hopes of her team in the 2014 CEV Volleyball Champions League – Women. However, before she finds her way to Sopot, she will try to go for back-to-back crowns at the 2013 European Championship coming up in early September in Germany and Switzerland

On Wednesday and Thursday Serbia’s national team claimed two friendly matches with neighboring Bulgaria. These games were the very last test before Serbia joins the preliminary round of the 2013 FIVB World Grand Prix.

We are going to play strong teams in the World Grand Prix but these games will help us get ready for the final round of the European Championship” Molnar says. “Poland is a very good team too, with plenty of experienced players. However, I still hope we can beat them”. 
Molnar was the last addition to the roster of Atom Trefl earlier. With her, Atom Trefl reception will be one of the best in the starting field, as Molnar is set to be joined by Charlotte Leys, Klaudia Kaczorowska, Kimberly Hill, youngster Magdalena Kuziak and libero Mariola Zenik.

 “I am not afraid of internal competition, it is up to the coach to decide who will be in the starting six” she says.
