There is only one question in Group B – Who will finish the group stage at the first place. After defeating Serbia in 5 sets, the Netherlands now have 4-1 score, 11 points and set ratio 14:7. At the same time, the USA have 4-0, 11 points and 12:4 set ratio, while they will play their last match against China later this day which will determine who will take the 1st place at the end, USA or NED.

As far as China is concerned they will definitely finish the group stage at the 4th place, while Serbia will enter the knockout phase as the 3rd placed team in Group B.

Serbia – Netherlands 2:3 (22:25, 20:25, 25:22, 2518, 8:15)

Serbia: Brakocevic 16, Boskovic 12, Veljkovic 11, Malesevic 8, Rasic 8, Busa 7, Zivkovic 4, Ognjenovic 4, Stevanovic 4, Mihajlovic, Nikolic, Popovic.

Netherlands: Pietersen 20, Sloetjes 18, Plak 9, De Kruijf 9, Buijs 8, Belien 7, Dijkema 2, Stoltenborg 1, Balkestein-Grothues, Steenbergen, Schoot, Stam-Pilon.

Group B: USA 4-0 (11 points), Netherlands 4-1 (11 points), Serbia 3-2 (10 points), China 2-2 (7 points), Italy 0-4 (0 points), Puerto Rico 0-4 (0 points).
