The trophy defenders Novi Pazar lost to Vojvodina NS Seme Novi Sad by a 3-2 (25-19, 26-24, 18-32, 20-25, 13-15) in the rematch of the national cup semifinal on the road but since they prevailed in the 1st leg by a 3-1, they advanced to the gold medal encounter.
Both sides made a great blocking display (Vojvodina 18 kill blocks, Novi Pazar 14 kill blocks). David Mehić from Vojvodina scored game-high 20 points (4 kill blocks). The Montenegrin Irfan Hamzagić delivered 16 points (3 aces) for the losing side for which Benjamin Daca made 5 kill blocks (9 points).
Novi Pazar will face Crvena zvezda Belgrade in the final of the 53rd edition of the Serbian cup.
