SRB M: Novi Pazar make it to the first playoff finals in club history

Novi Pazar made a historical success as they advanced to the Serbian men’s volleyball championship Superliga 2017/2018 playoff finals.

The second-seed Novi Pazar beat No.3 Spartak Subotica on the road in Game 3 of the Serbian men’s volleyball championship Superliga 2017/2018 playoff semifinals by a 3-2 (25-22, 25-22, 28-30, 23-25, 15-13) to make a sweep in the series.

Thus, Novi Pazar advanced to their first-ever playoff finals, in which they will face defending champions Vojvodina NS Seme Novi Sad.

Irfan Hamzagić topped Novi Pazar with 27 points (3 aces, 2 kill blocks) today. Aleksa Polomac added 5 kill blocks. In Spartak, Vanja Eremić scored 15 points, while Stefan Kovačević contributed with 4 kill blocks.

The first team that reaches three wins in the playoff finals will win the national title.
