Fenerbahce have almost dropped the lead in the playoff finals first game. They had a 2-0 lead but in the next two sets we saw a great reaction of Arkasspor, led by Adis Lagumdzija.
The away side managed to level the score in sets but it seems they spent all their strenghts to stay in the race for the win. Fenerbahce smashed them in the tie-break to take the lead in the finals.
Wouter Ter Maat was the most dominant player in the home team with 25 points, while Salvador Hidalgo contributed with 19 points. Lagumdzija was the best scorer on the other side with 24 points.
Men’s Turkish championship, playoff finals:
Fenerbahce – Arkasspor 3-2 (25-20, 25-19, 22-25, 21-25, 15-9)
