Arkas Spor were unable to keep the veteran setter from Brazil Murilo Radke for one more season. The former “Seleção” member joined the Italian top division side Globo Banca Popolare del Frusinate Sora.

As his replacement, the İzmir team engaged Canada national team player Jay Blankenau. A 29-year-old setter came to Arkas from the Belgian Greenyard Maaseik with whom he won the championship title.
