Though they were downed this past in straight sets, the home heroes of Galatasaray ISTANBUL still feel they have their own chances in the return game with Ural UFA of Russia scheduled this Thursday for the 1/4 finals of the 2013 CEV Volleyball Challenge Cup – Men. This and other volleyball news read on Worldofvolley.com.

After delivering a good performance this past week against one of the top favorites in Turkey’s national league, Galatasaray – plagued this season by an endless series of injuries – is still confident they may have a shot at the semis of the Challenge Cup. “We feel honored to be able to compete in the European Cups and even though last week we suffered a major setback there in Russia, I believe that our team is capable of fighting back and showing their real potential” team manager Murat Ersoy says. “Our club is ready to host Ural UFA here in Istanbul the best we can”.
