The Brazilian middle blocker was quoted by Russian clubs and Azerbaijanis, and ended up opting for Fenerbahce after good recommendations from their countrymen. After all, she will be the fifth player from Brazil in Fenerbahce (Fofao, Fabiana, Mari and Paula were there).
Olympic champion in 2012, Garay lives a spectacular moment of her career, has evolved since its first call for selection (in 2010) and the trend is to continue growing. This will be her the second experience abroad (defended the Japanese NEC Red Rockets season 2010/2011).
Playing with Sollys Nestlé Osasco, Garay won the gold medal in the 2012 FIVB Club World Championship held in Doha, Qatar.
