Fenerbahçe Medicana has officially announced the appointment of Serbian expert Slobodan Kovac as the new head coach of their men’s volleyball team. Kovac brings an impressive resume, including European Championship victories and multiple national league and cup titles across Turkey, Serbia, and beyond. His career also boasts a gold medal from the 2000 Sydney Olympics as player and recognition as “CEV Coach of the Year” in 2019.

Meanwhile, Earvin Ngapeth, the MVP of the Paris Olympics, has confirmed via social media that he will leave Poitiers (Alterna Stade Poitevin). In an emotional Instagram post, Ngapeth expressed gratitude to the Poitiers community and announced a farewell match on December 27, marking the end of his chapter with the club.

Ngapeth is widely rumored to be the next major signing for Fenerbahçe, with an official confirmation expected soon. His arrival would strengthen the team as they aim for success in the remainder of the season.
