Fenerbahce and Eczacibasi secured their spots in the Turkish Women’s Volleyball Cup semifinals with dominant straight-set victories.
Fenerbahce swept Bahcelievler 3-0 (25-13, 25-20, 25-13), with Russian star Arina Fedorovtseva leading the charge, scoring 17 points (13 attacks at 65% efficiency, three aces, and one block). Despite missing key players like Melissa Vargas and Eda Erdem, coach Marco Fenoglio’s squad advanced and will face either THY or Besiktas next.
Eczacibasi also cruised past Kuzeyboru 3-0 (25-14, 25-20, 25-18). Serbian opposite Tijana Boskovic led with 18 points (16 attacks at 57%), while Hande Baladin added 13 points. They will meet the winner of Vakifbank vs. Galatasaray in the semis.
