Following their defeat in the first match of the Turkish Women’s Volleyball League playoff semifinals, Fenerbahçe Medicana has officially announced the departure of head coach Marco Fenoglio, along with assistant coach Stefano Micoli and fitness trainer Maurizio Negro.
The club thanked the Italian coaching staff for their contributions and wished them well in their future careers.
This marks the fourth coaching change this season among Turkey’s top five women’s volleyball teams. Previous changes occurred at THY, Galatasaray, and Eczacıbaşı, leaving only VakifBank as the lone club standing by its coach. VakifBank continues to show long-term trust in Giovanni Guidetti, a partnership that has brought consistent success and a dominant presence in European volleyball for over 15 years.
