Fenerbahce struggled quite a bit during the second and the third set. Dresdner should have won the second set. They lost 6 points in a row from 24:20. Unbelievable! Kim did a incredible job at the end of the second set.

Too bad Dresdner could not use Izquierdo who recently suffered an injury, the game could have been even more balanced

I hope the head coach of Fenerbahce reads this.. Fenerbahce right now is a very strong team and I am really a fan. But the placement of players is just not right.. In the game vs Dresdner, he made Mihajlovic play as opposite and Lucia as Open spiker. Mihajlovic as opposite is unquestionably excellent! she is a versatile and powerful player. But Lucia as an Open Spiker is not that good.. She gets blocked really often also maybe because of her height.. Lucia should be the one playing as Opposite for that is her original position! We’ve all seen how good she was during the 2012 olympics when she was the opposite of italy! she was nearly unstoppable back then 😀

I can’t agree more with your comment about Bosetti. Her spikes were so easily blocked during this game. Skorupa should have better utilized the middle blockers like Harmotto. Gizem did a fantastic job as Libero during the later part of the game. I believe that they are very strong this year and hope that they will get better as the season continues. I am very curious which foreign players will play during the coming game against Vakifbank.
