“We want cancel the matches but we can’t go there right now. We are offering a few solutions, but we will definitely not travel to Turkey. We can play in some other countries, or we are ready to hear some new solutions. So, Dinamo and Belogorie will not travel there” says Aleksandr Yeremenko, general secretary of the Russian volleyball federation.
The match between Belogorie and Arkas should have been played in Izmir (1st December), while a day later, Dinamo should have been on court against Ziraat Bankasi. These matches won’t be played because of political tension between these two countries…
Recall that Dinamo didn’t travel to Paris last week due to the horrible events that hit the capital of France.
