Eczacibasi
The visitors were in front by 2-1 in sets, while they had a chance to take away all 3 points from Istanbul! However, Eczacibasi won the battle in the thrilling fourth set and tied the overall score to 2-2.
In the tie-break, Turkish giant escaped to 14:9, but Prostejov then scored three points in a row and approached to 14:12. Still, there was no major comeback, as Eczacibasi won the following point and closed the game – 15:12, 3-2.
At the same time, Lokomotiv Baku won the local derby against Azerrail Baku by 3-1.
