Volleyball Festival at Kanyon mall
Eczacibasi, the winner of the last edition of Turkey’s national league for a total of 28 titles in history, is currently preparing for the coming season and all 15 players included in the roster – i.e. Aleksandra Petrovic, Asuman Karakoyun, Buse Kayacan, Büsra Cansu, Ceylan Arisan, Elif Didem Durmaz, Esra Gümüs, Gözde Yilmaz, Gülden Kayalar, Kuzubasioglu, Lioubov Sokolova, Maja Poljak, Melis Durul, Neslihan Darnel, Özge Kirdar Cemberci and Senna Usic Jogunica – joined that special action to catch up with their fans who got the chance to get autographs from their idols on an-hoc posters and take photos with their favorite stars.
Mini volleyball tournament for children aged from 10 to 14 were organized in conjunction with this action and some real sport atmosphere was spread around there in the facilities of that shopping mall. One of the main aims was to introduce as many children as possible to the sport and the coaching staff of the club was also there to evaluate the physical skills of the kids (height, weight, flexibility etc.) and answer the questions submitted by their parents. The children also had their share of fun by playing and going around together with the official mascot of the club, a tiger.
Even adults were invited to play Volleyball in some friendly matches with special gifts as well as giveaways for the eventual winners.
