Regular Season champions Fenerbahçe walked on the edge in the second game of the semifinals versus No.4 Arkas Spor after losing Game 1 at home. They avoided elimination only in the tie-break 3-2 (25-19, 25-27, 25-22, 23-25, 16-14) and brought series back home. ’Fener’ had huge team blocking display (14), while Metin Toy stood out individually with 25 points. Cuban Michael Sánchez Bozhulev had 28 for Arkas.

No.2 Halkbank leveled series against third seed Ziraat Bankası much easier. They demolished rivals on the road in straight sets and will also have a chance to solve the question of the finalists in front of home crowd. Burutay Subaşı led Halkbank with 18 points while Italian Cristian Savani scored 10 on the other side.
