’Fener’ beat title holders Halkbank Ankara by a 3-1 (25-22, 24-26, 25-18, 25-13) in the match that was held in the „Başkent Sports Hall“ in Ankara and won the 2017 Spor Toto Champions Cup (formerly known as Super Cup). The Istanbul team did it for the third time in the history after 2011 and 2012.
The Slovenian Alen Šket topped Fenerbahçe with 19 points while Metin Toy added 18. In Halkbank, the Cuban Fernando Hernández scored 19 points. Burutay Subaşi added 10.
