“This will be a tough game” says head coach Giovanni Guidetti. “RC CANNES is a strong team and has got players who have been together for many years. They can play good Volleyball and in my opinion they got stronger than last year via the addition of Brankica Mihajlovic. They lost their first match at home to Uralochka, but this brings some extra motivation for them to come here and go for a win. My team is ready, all players are in good shape and we are working hard to prepare for this match in the best way. I hope many supporters will come to cheer on us!”
Team captain Gözde Sonsirma Kirdar adds: “This third round is the most important match of the prelims. RC CANNES is a very good team with many experienced players. Our advantage is that we are finding the right chemistry and team work. I believe it will be a great match and we’ll be giving our best. I wish many supporters will be there with us”.
