USA’s Cooper Robinson was the standout performer, notching 16 points with a combination of 9 attacks, 4 blocks, and 3 aces. Teammates Zachary Rama and William Rottman each contributed 13 points.
Canadian Reeve Gingera led his team with 12 points, including 2 aces. With this result, Canada earned the silver medal with a 4-2 record, while the USA finished with a 5-1 record, avenging their earlier loss to Canada in the round robin stage.
In the bronze medal match, Mexico edged out Puerto Rico in a five-set battle (21-25, 25-17, 25-18, 23-25, 15-11). Mexico’s Mauro Isaac Fuentes Rascon and Yasutaka Sanay Heredia each scored 17 points, while Jamal Ellis Carballo of Puerto Rico led all scorers with 24 points.
