After two straight defeats, USA clinched the first win against world number one ranked team! The series concludes on Saturday at UC Irvine’s Bren Center.
Murphy Troy was the top scorer with 23, while Sander, who scored a point for the win, had 21! On the other side, Fonteles and Buiatii finished with 17 points each.
The U.S. team is using the exhibitions against Brazil to tune up for the World Cup in Japan. They want to reach the best two teams which will give them a ticket for Rio 2016 Olympics! Brazil as a host automatically qualifies for Rio.
