VakifBank Turk Telekom pursuit of leadership
Having three nil victory at 2004 Tomis Constanta last week, Turkish staff rised up top level in the group, if Istanbul team wins upcoming match without losing a point, leadership will be secured.
VakifBank Turk Telekom trainer Giovanni Guidetti told about the game, “It’s a very important match for us. If we win, we will be the first in our group, so that, we focused on and concentrated for the match. Because we want to place on top. Bergamo is playing very good and they have always been a tough team. They are so fit with great players, therefore this will be a difficult match but we are ready.”
“Since Bergamo beat Azerrail Baku last week, our next match at Tuesday became so important. We are on top now and we need to win the battle in terms of keeping leadership. In the first game, we defeated them 3:0 but they developed well from that moment up to day. All the players are ready and they all know how serious this match is. We will try our best to win on Tuesday.” stated Turkish team captain Gozde Sonsirma.
