The Argentine women’s junior team ready to participate at the ACLAV Argentine A1 women senior league
The light blue – white jersey team concentrates in the Buenos Aires province city of Los Toldos since January 9th working together with the coaching team headed by Guillermo Cáceres.
The girls will host the third weekend Grand Prix, February 3rd. – 5th.
The first participation of the grass-root team at ACLAV competition was in the season 2005/06 with girls that today stand among the Women’s Senior Team with international experience as Antonela Curatola, Lucía Fresco and Josefina Fernández, among others.
In the year 2009 the Argentine Volleyball Federation renewed its effort and the national team returned to competing at the Women League, reaching its fourth participation in general and the third consecutive one.
The Junior team participated at the 2009/10 League while on the last season (2010/11) the Youth Team got its chance and for this 2011/12 season there will be a team that combines both junior and youth players.
Both the Junior Team (1994/95 girls) and the Youth One (1996/97 girls) will have a demanding international season including their respective South American Championships, that qualify teams for their 2013 World Championships.
