We were strong mentally. We put a lot of energy on the court. I am happy that we upgraded our numbers in attack and reception. We are ready to fight with Italy for a semifinal spot.“

“It was tough to prepare after yesterday’s loss. We were a little bit behind our opponents in every element. Now we must analyze our mistakes and weaknesses and start the preparation for the World League,” Tomas Sammelvuo, captain of Finland, said in his last statement from Sofia. “Slovakia played a very good game.
