“We do expect a great Volleyball night this Thursday as we go to Italy to play LATINA” says general manager Martin Micheu. “They are on a class of their own as they have a very strong team and are playing in one of the world’s best national leagues. For our club it was already a great success to make it to the 1/4 finals of the CEV Cup”.
“The match is a great opportunity and reward for the club as well as for the players” adds head coach Bogdan Kotnik. “The club is just celebrating 30 years of great work and dedication to this sport. The players enjoy the opportunity to see where they stand also on the international arena and they have already done their best in the previous rounds. Of course we do respect our rivals and we know their strength, but our club is not playing a quarterfinal of the European Cups every single day. This means we’ll be playing with glowing hearts to leave the court with a good result”.
