Tomis is currently ranked third in Pool E with four points and the game with Dinamo represents a last opportunity to continue its European adventure. The home guys would like to repeat their great performance from the match with Fenerbahce Grundig ISTANBUL where they scored their first, historic win in the competition.
“The clash with Dinamo will be very difficult; in Moscow we played a good game but ultimately they won” says team captain Dan Borota (pictured). “This is our last chance to make it to the Challenge Round of the CEV Cup and even with a 3:0 or 3:1 home win we have to wait for the results of the other Pools”.
“This is a very important match for both teams” head coach Radovan Gacic adds. “We have our chance to make it to the CEV Cup but Dinamo is motivated as well as they need points to advance to the Playoffs 12. Dinamo is the clear favorite going into this fixture but so far we have played good matches in what was literally an iron group and so we’ll fight up to the end to get some points”.
