Tetyukhin
In the interview for Sport-Express, Sergey Tetyukhin said that Russia in on the right path to return to the very top of world volleyball.
“I like everything about my return. The team made serious progress and I hope I was able to help. That is why I accepted to come back. I guess we are still not ready to compete with those three teams that finished above us at the World Cup. But, we have to trust in young players and most importantly we have to be patient. Perhaps, it is good that we achieved this result at the World Cup. Things can’t be changed over the night…” said Tetukhin.
Legendary player will not play for Russia at the upcoming EuroVolley, but he added that he might be ready to return to the team in future if needed.
