Azerbaijan will get a new champion in women’s volleyball! After eight consecutive national titles, Rabita will not be able to defend the trophy in the upcoming season. The reason – Baku powerhouse will not compete in the Azerbaijani Championship 2015/16 as the club seized to exist!
Still, the whole project created around Rabita will continue to live through Telecom Baku, which was considered to be the second team of Rabita for years.
These are the teams which will play in the Azerbaijani Championship 2015/16 – Azerrail, Azeryol, Lokomotiv, Telecom, Tbilisi (Georgian team got a special invitation) and Azerbaijani U18 team.
