Negro
This was quite unexpected. Impel Wroclaw sacked Nicola Negro! The club’s management explained this decision by saying that they are not completely satisfied with the way the team was playing.
“We are at the third place in OrlenLiga, while we still have chance to qualify for the Playoffs stage in the Champions League. Those results allows us to be optimistic in front the rest of the season. However, we decided that the team can play even better, so a change of a coach was one solution. We would like to thank Nicola Negro for his contribution in building of Impel Wroclaw. He has done a good job and we sincerely thank him for that” said Jacek Grabowski, the President of the club.
Impel Wroclaw have only two defeats in the Orlen Liga so far (10-2 overall score), but they lost both big derbies against Chemik Police and Atom Trefl Sopot.
