“They played a very nice match. We learned very valuable lessons from this match. It’s good for us to face strong opponents like Brazil. We will go back home and train harder for the Olympic Games in Rio. We still have some areas that we have to improve on. We exposed our weakness in this match.” said coach Karch Kiraly.
USA captain Christa Harmotto Dietzen: “It’s always a great battle when we play against Brazil. We learned a lot from this match. The Brazilian middle blockers were really good. We had to make a series of adjustments in defence. We have to take this lesson when we go back home.”
