According to sportowefakty.wp.pl, Blain decided to leave Poland NT bench regardless of the decision of the Polish Volleyball Federation to renew contracts with him and Antiga.

Not only that. Blain is among candidates to replace Russia National Team head coach Vladimir Alekno whose days on “Zbornaya” bench are numbered. As some Russian media wrote, there are 13 coached that offered their services to the Russian Volleyball Federation, including Blain. Also, there are coaches like Konstantinov or Grebennikov.

Earlier, Blain has signed a contract with PGE Skra Bełchatów and will lead the club in the 2016/2017 season.
